Young people should be at the forefront of global change and innovation. Empowered, they can be the key agents for development and peace. If, however, they are left on society’s margins, all of us will be impoverished.Let us ensure that all young people have every opportunity to participate fully in the lives of their societies.”

Kofi Annan

Globalization affects the youth and the whole society at large. Global transformations that range from cultural, historical, technological and demographic changes require youth to develop new skills and habits that are far ahead of what the educational system can nowadays deliver. Globalization has opened up new opportunities for sustainable economic growth. Countries share experiences in their achievements and they learn from one another’s difficulties. It has promoted a cross fertilization of ideas, cultural values and aspirations, thus it has helped to connect youth not only to the rest of the world but also among each other.

We, here at MRIS-14 strongly believe in instilling new ideas among our students, thus igniting inside them, the spirit to be inquisitive, enthisiastic and above all resolving. MR-MUN has been a journey for us, where every year the effulgent and exhilarating minds are brought together, and a forum is provided for meaningful debate on issues significant to the international community. MR-MUN 2017 had seen an overwhelming response from the young minds. It was a revelry to see the participants researching for and adapting to their parts so well, thus, giving a tenacious competition to the other young delegates. This forum, besides succoring the youth to gain some profound perspective for the art of diplomacy, value leadership and encourage team spirit, also, helps them in building up their skills in public speaking, research and debate.

Encouraging the students to implement the learning at the conference beyond the committee room, we would like you to join us and take advantage of the opportunity brought forward by MR-MUN 2018. Unveiling the fourth chapter in th same league, we wish to enculturate the world’s youth into the global world view. We expect to perpetuate the superiority of the modern development paradigm and devalue the worn out system.

We are looking forward to an exalting and unfeigned concurrence from the young participants.

With Best Regards
