Agenda – Protection of child rights with special  emphasis 2030 sustainable development goals

The United Nations Economic and Social Council is one of the six principal organs of the United Nations, responsible for coordinating the economic, social, and related work of 15 UN specialized agencies, their functional commissions and five regional commissions. In this session’s ECOSOC, the focus will be on the protection of child rights so frequently violated, and a future perspective and emphasis on the goals to be attained by 2030. In September of 2015, world leaders set a transformational course for the future of human development with the adoption of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It will be the due duty of the committee’s delegates to walk in the wake of this mission and make it possible and attainable for the committee.
